SCHEDULING Intern Dates are sent out to students 4-6 weeks in advance so they have plenty of time to make any necessary adjustments in their work schedule! Intern shifts vary a little in each city. Available shifts vary and are available throughout the week and weekends, during the day and evening. Shifts can range from 3-6 hours. BOOKING CLIENTS One of the purposes that Internship's fulfill, is giving the student the opportunity to develop their 'brand', their online reach and their community reach! It is the perfect time to invite family and friends to book in with you so you can practice your new skills! Our internship program is well known and has its own client base. Many of our students are booked with our own clients, even up to 50% of the time. However, this is not guaranteed. Students are required to build their reach to make their internship successfully booked! Interns have their own treatment menu on our Vagaro booking system and they will receive their booking link to share on their socials and with others!

Each program provides different Internship Hours. Review your Programs of interest to see their unique Internship Program. Though Internship is additional cost the student, students earn 10% commission on all sales, paid out the month following the completion of their internship! I took training at another institution, can I register just for an Internship Program? Unfortunately, no. A successful internship requires a strong foundation. However, if you've taken a program elsewhere, there are more affordable MM programs for you! Call us to learn more, 587-717-0059. Can I purchase more Internship hours after I use all mine? Yes! If you decide you'd like to add more supervised hours, they can be booked anytime! How much do I earn as an Intern? Interns earn 10% commission of all treatment sales. This is paid out in 1 payment, in the month following their last inter shift.

The internship program is add-on option to most of our programs. We find that these additional hours spent in-clinic, performing treatments on clients, is one of the most valuable parts of our training. The real-life experience really helps to affirm the students knowledge and to strengthen their confidence in both making treatment decisions and their technical skills. Internships play a significant factor in our students being a valuable and competitive candidate for injector positions! During your time with us, you will learn the rhythm of the clinic, charting, social media, varying consultations and navigating treatment plans and protocols.

SCHEDULING - Like Internships, Residents will maintain their profile on our Online Booking System (Vagaro) where they will be identified as a Certified Resident Injector. - Residents are able to book 1, 4hour shift (11-3pm, 3-7pm) each week for up to 12 consecutive weeks from their start date, a total of 16 shifts. - Shifts are available on a first come, first serve basis, and are booked in a google calendar. - Shifts cannot be cancelled or rebooked. COMPENSATION - Once your Internship is complete, Residents will begin charging Certified Injector Rates. - Residents earn a 15% commission on all service sales during their Residency. - Monthly earnings are paid on the 15th of the following month via e-transfer. (ex. you will receive payment on April 15th for all of March's sales)

Once a student successfully completes their technical training and their internship program, they qualify to participate in our 3 month Residency Program. This unique working and compensated program, provides our certified injectors the opportunity to true work experience, making them highly competitive candidates for injector positions. In this quickly growing industry, work experience is the most common asset employers are looking for. This program will allow our graduates to have the more hands-on experience than any other program on the market, ranging from 92 to 104 hours of hands-on, in-clinic experience (depending on their internship duration). We provide all of our students personal references and performance reviews to help them navigate their success. Participants receive an additional Certification identifying their Residency and their total completed hands-on hours.

In order to take advantage of this work experience program, only those who successfully complete a BL Injector Program and Internship can qualify. To help students gain the best possible skill set, BL offers those who previously trained with a group orientated program (such as CAMA and CBAM) a 10% discount on BL Programs and Internships. Do you provide a Medical Director for the duration of my Residency? - Yes, a Medical Director is provided and included during your Residency with us. Can I Participate in a BL Residency if I have previous work experience? - Residents must complete BL Injector Training & Internships to participate in this Resident Work Experience. Is a Permanent Position with BL possible after I complete my Residency? - When hiring positions are available, we accept applications from our Residents. Do I take on the BL Instagram Name? - Yes. For the duration of your Residency with us, your Injector Instagram Handle will model the collective name! This allows other local clinics to easily see and follow along your journey and growth. (ex. @JANE.BEAUTYLAB.RESIDENT) Do you provide references? - Yes. Participants who complete BL Residency can provide our contact information to potential employers so we can provide them with honest input and feedback of your work experience with us! Is there a Resident dress code? - Yes. All Resident Injectors are required to wear clean scrubs and closed-toe shoes for each of their shifts. What else do I need to know? - Residents are required to sign a contract indicating more details, responsibilities and requirements for the duration of their Residency.

Patient models will be informed of potential side effects, complications and adverse reactions to treatment at the time of their appointment 3. TREATMENT DISCLAIMER All Trainers reserve the right to decline treatment at any time to protect the integrity of the patient. Beauty Lab Academy reserves the right to decline treatment on the day of a booked appointment if significant contradictions (including illness) are present. Each patient model must be prepared to undergo treatment by Trainees who are attending the Beauty Lab Training course. Patient models are not permitted to request that the Trainer carries out their treatment. It is at the discretion of the Trainer who carries out the treatment for each model. Patient models reserve the right to choose, at any point, not to undergo or continue with their treatment.
